Ich kann mich BoyScout2106 nur anschließen. Ich habe die Entwicklung in den letzten sechs Jahren hier in Timisoara hautnah miterlebt. Seit dieser Zeit lebe ich hier (geboren und aufgewachsen bin ich in Deutschland). In diesen Jahren hat sich wirklich sehr viel getan, ständig werden neue Läden und Geschäfte aufgemacht. Die Straßen werde im Gegensatz zu Deutschland repariert... natürlich dauert das alles. Überall fehlt es an Geld um die notwendigen Reparaturen durchzuführen. Dennoch ist es einfach toll zu sehen wie es voran geht.
Wenn ich durch meine Heimatstadt Saarbrücke laufe zeigt sich mir immer das gleiche Bild. Geschäfte werden geschlossen, überall sieht man nur Schilder „Zu Vermieten “ „Zu Verkaufen“. Das macht mich dann immer fertig. Hier gehe ich durch die Straßen und jeden Tag wird irgendwo ein neuer Club, ein Restaurant, ein Supermarkt etc. eröffnet. Da spürt man einfach das etwas geschieht...

Allerdings denke ich auch, dass ein EU-Beitritt noch etwas zu früh ist. Es tut mir zwar für Rumänien leid, aber dir Korruption ist einfach noch zu stark. Auch wenn die Regierung vieles „Angeworfen“ hat, der Sumpf ist einfach nicht so schnell trockenzulegen. Leider!!
